Since I have started with Younique, I have responded to so many comments from people on Facebook in different groups, in particular about our 3D Fiber Lashes, saying the product does not stay on, the fibers fall over their face all day, it is all clumpy, the fibers don't adhere to the lashes at all, it is impossible to remove, or they never received what they ordered. And when I ask questions and get to the bottom of it I find that the person has purchased from either eBay or Amazon…which I knew right from the beginning was the case to be honest.

So I wanted to do this blog, and I hope that even 10% of the people who follow my page take the time to read it and the couple article links I will include at the end.

So when you are checking out eBay or Amazon to try so save a few $/£ ask yourself these two questions.

1. How can I guarantee the product being sold is authentic and not a knock off full of chemicals and fillers that can be harmful not only to your eyes, but to your general health?

2. Why would a Younique Presenter jeopardise losing her business as well as purposely lose money when you also factors in both eBay and PayPal fees that all sellers must pay, just to be able to sell products on these sites…does that make good business sense or sound logical?

How to Make the Most of Your Mascara and Perfect Your Lash Look

Good morning, divas.  A few weeks ago I asked for some of your favorite mascara tricks, and the ones you left were brilliant!

So, here are five fantastic ways to work those lashes with a little help from our friend (3D Fiber Lash Mascara)…

1. Younique's 3D Fiber Lash Mascara

Although it seems like there’s a lot of steps to putting on the 3D mascara, it actually goes very quickly. I should also mention, that normally, before using Younique's 3D Fiber Lash Mascara, I would apply 2-3 coats of regular mascara, so I feel the time involved to apply the Younique is about the same. If you typically only apply 1 coat of mascara, then using the Younique, you’ll be adding on about 2-3 minutes to your regular makeup routine. I’m a busy mom like many of you are, but I would totally spend the extra 2 minutes if it would make my lashes look 5x better! PLUS, its in the same price range as the more expensive brands ($35).

Here are the steps to achieve the look in the Before & After below.

1) First you apply 1 coat of your regular mascara (if you wish, but it is not necessary)
2) Then you apply 1 coat of the Younique transplanting gel (its black and resembles regular mascara)
3) Then you apply 1 coat of the Younique green tea fibers (it looks like pieces of black fluff on a mascara wand)
4) Then you apply another coat of the Younique transplanting gel to seal it

“I wipe off the mascara wand as well to help prevent clumping. I also keep an old (but clean!) mascara wand handy and use it before my mascara dries to help separate the lashes if they do get clumpy, if I do not have a metal lash comb handy.” – Venessa

5. Powder play...

I personally believe the total savings is priceless! The sky is the limit when it comes to being your own boss and running a business. When I was little and running on the race track at school, I always stopped and waited for all the other kids so we could run together even though I knew (and everybody else knew) that I could run much faster than all of them! And the only thing that I've ever received in return is people thinking that they are faster than me, people thinking that they can make me feel bad about myself just because I let them and people thinking that I have to do whatever they say I should do. Every girl always said "Cinderella is a perfect example to be" or "I just want to be like Barbie" but I have learned that Cinderella and Barbie can go f$%* themselves [excuse my French], I'm not waiting for anybody, anymore! I'm going to run as fast as I can, fly as high as I can, I am going to soar and if you want, you can come with me! But I'm not waiting for anyone, ANYMORE. I want to soar with the eagles, because chickens cannot fly!

5 Things Your Mom Never Told You About Makeup

 

Ever since I was a little girl, I have always been fascinated by mystery of makeup. I remember watching my mom at the mirror applying her makeup and thinking "How did she learn such things?"

Aren’t you thankful that we live in the age of the Internet so that we can watch videos on YouTube and learn how to properly apply makeup? Everything that we could possibly ever want to learn about makeup can be found online.

We can learn how to fill in our eyebrows, the best spots to apply blush for our face type, and other cool tricks that can help to enhance our look.

I’m pretty sure that our moms didn’t teach us any of the makeup tips below. (After all, I just learned about blow-drying my lashes a couple of weeks ago!) But to give our moms credit, the Internet wasn’t around then and times were a lot different.

1. Clean Makeup Brushes

This has to be the most important and most often broken rule. It may seem harmless to reuse a brush even on a clean face, however bacteria is always lurking; especially if there are active breakouts. A weekly cleanse is a must, and can help to prevent the spread of acne, clogged pores, and poor application caused by dirty brushes. A simple wash in baby shampoo or dish liquid followed by an alcohol mist is an affordable way to maintain your brushes as well as save your skin from harm.

2. Expiration Check

**Tips & Tricks**

Blow Dry Those Lashes Girl: After applying your mascara, use the blow dryer on the warm setting to curl your lashes and dry your mascara.
