Younique Convention 2015

Through my pictures and brief messages I've mentioned that Younique is not just about mascara. Younique is also not just about makeup/cosmetics. Younique is not just about being gluten free, vegan friendly and no cruelty to our furry friends. Younique is a lot more than that - empowering others. The MOST touching aspect of Younique is The Younique Foundation:: A foundation giving sexually abused women a safe place to realize their individual worth. #YouniqueCon2014 #TheYouniqueFoundation. This coming August I will have the honour of hearing first hand how I can be apart of this life changing experience for the women put in these unfortunate situations. I am SOOO excited for Younique's Convention in Chicago 2015!!

At a Younique convention in 2014 it was announced that the Founders of Younique are purchasing a retreat in the mountains of Utah to provide a place where women and girls who have been victims of sexual assault and abuse, can go to begin their healing process. A place they can go to begin to regain their self worth. Did you know that 1 in 3 females will be sexually assaulted before the age of 12? I'm one of 4 sisters, and people that know me, know this Foundation touches me personally. 

Ask yourself this question. How much is a crumbled, stomped on, dirty $100 bill worth? You will probably say that its worth $100 dollars. However, I'd be willing to bet the $100 bill (or the girl) would say that it (she) does not feel that worth.

Younique is and will continue to make a difference in this world. In the lives of our Presenters. In the lives of victims. Society in a whole.

Don't be so quick to judge, you never know what another ones battle is. What they "look" like on the outside. may not be the "worth" they are feeling on the inside. #stopabuse #helpothers
