My First Younique Lip Stain Experience
Younique came out with an exclusive lip stain as the November Customer Kudos if a certain amount of product was sold. Being that I love earning free products (who doesn’t?), I earned a few of these cranberry-colored lip stains. Since joining as a Younique presenter, I’ve become quite adventurous with trying out different makeup colors and this was no different. I’m usually a natural shade (for both lips and eyes) kind of girl, but I actually couldn’t wait to try this beautiful color on my lips.It certainly did not disappoint. You know, there’s just something about the fall and the holiday season that makes you want to glam it up a bit more than usual and I did just that. The great thing about this exclusive lip stain was that it suited just about any skin tone, so it was a great gateway into the world of lip stains.
Not one word of a lie, I fell in love. Be honest, y’all… Who wants to apply lip color ONE time, have it stay on all day long, and not leave any color on a cup of water, coffee, or wine? I mean, who wouldn’t want that?! It certainly lives up to its’ name and does all of the above. As you can imagine, it was such a hit with Younique Presenters and customers alike so we were all super excited to learn that it was one of Younique’s new spring products for March 2015.
The November Customer Kudos lip stain color was truly exclusive, but we now have 7 beautiful shades of lip stain to choose from! That’s like a lip stain for every day of the week! (And if you really loved the November color and ran out, Sultry is the closest thing to it.)
Younique’s lip stain provides stubborn lip color that won’t budge while delivering perfectly tinted, long-lasting color with a smooth, matte finish.
Younique’s 7 Shades of Lip Stain
1. Shy Shy is the lightest shade available and adds a nice hint of pink to lips.
2. Sappy
Sappy is a shade up from Shy and is the perfect daily color. It’s a pretty light pink that is definitely one of my favorites right now.
3. SkittishSkittish is a fun color! It’s a bright pink and perfect for Spring. It’s such a great color, whether you are tan or pale in skin tone.
4. Saucy
Saucy is a red lip stain color.
5. Sultry
Sultry is a cranberry color and is the closest to the lip stain that was offered in November as the Younique customer kudos.
6. Sleek
Sleek is a brownish/plum lip stain color (if that even makes sense…).
7. Savvy
Savvy is a purple lip stain color.
Why You Need Younique’s Stiff Upper Lip Lip Stain in Your Life:

Younique’s Stiff Upper Lip Lip Stain Review: A Few Helpful Tips!
Younique’s lip stain is really simple to use. Since I’ve been using it for a few months now, I have learned some tricks that make the application process go a little more smoothly.If you have really dry or chapped lips, use a toothbrush to exfoliate your lips first. You want your lips to be as smooth as possible (no flaky lips) so that the lip stain isn’t splotchy when applied.
If you want to apply another coat of lip stain, wait for the lip stain to dry completely before doing so.
If you don’t like the feel of the matte finish, use a clear lip gloss (or even chap stick) once the lip stain is dry.
Make sure that you apply the lip stain on your bare lips. You don’t want any gloss or chap stick residue on your lips before applying the lip stain. It won’t go on even and it won’t look good.
How to remove Younique’s Stiff Upper Lip Lip Stain
Obviously you want a lip stain to last, but what about when you want to take it off? Whether it’s not the right color or it’s lasted all day long and you’re ready for bed, you need to know how to remove lip stain. The easiest way to remove lip stain color from your lips is to apply petroleum jelly or chap stick on your lips, leave it on for a few minutes, and then wipe it off with a makeup remover cloth. The lip stain should come right off.
