My Younique Story
I should first mention that I’ve seen first-hand the incredible financial freedom and life the direct sales profession provides. I’ve watched a close family friend reach the top of Younique in 7 short months, retiring from her 9-5 job and soon retiring her husband from his too. The whole industry has always intrigued me. But honesty I wasn’t sure if it was really for me or not. I'm not a "sales-type" as we all say.
Like many of you, I’ve always been invited to jewelry, makeup, clothing, food, and other direct sales parties at friend’s houses. Over the years, there was nothing that caught my attention or got me excited about a specific company or products, and joining one of these companies was at the bottom of my list. Of course I buy something at every party I’m invited to and I love/wear/use many of the products I’ve bought. But it stopped there. I just didn’t see myself being involved in any of the specific companies.
In August 2014 I was invited to a group gathering for Younique by my best friend's mother. I've known this family since JK. She had been pulling my leg for a few months prior, just was only listening with one ear open per se. Kelly had mentioned lots about Younique Products and their line of Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes.
I had no idea that it was direct sales company. I just knew I had to try out the product. Lord knows how much mascara I have and I’m always open to trying new makeup, especially something that is naturally based and good for you!
I, however, spent some time researching the company, owners, background, products, Younique product reviews, and reviews for the 3D Fiber Lashes. Long story short, I thought long and hard, but ultimately said to myself, “There is no doubt this company is going to be huge. I can see them being a $100 million dollar company.” "If Karyn can do it, I can too."
I was really excited about the company and products! Not only is the company rapidly growing fast, I was easily pulled in by how we get paid. With Younique, there is no waiting until the following month to get paid. Within 3 hours of making an online sale, your commission is available to you. This was a big selling point for me. With other direct sales company, you get paid on the 15th and 30th of the month. I never truly understood that. How could I be "self-employed" if I did not have access to my profits when I needed them?? With Younique, I don't have to worry about that. I get my profits as I make them...3 hours after the sale.
Our party model is also different. The Younique plan is highly involved with social media, where MANY of us spend at least two, or more, hours a day. When a party is set up, it automatically gives you, or your host, the option to share it on Facebook. It even creates an event for you. Oh, and if you caught that, yes, your host has access to being able to go to their party. Yes, you read that right - they can start their own. No more trying to convince everyone to show up at your house, they can shop at 3 a.m., in their pajamas.
What I love most about Younique is the support I get from ALL of the presenters I reach out to! It truly is amazing that everyone wants to help each other! If I have a question about a product, I can get the answer I need instantly. Younique has FB pages that allow presenters to help one another.
Younique is all about Women Empowering Women!!
I've barely scratched the surface on what makes Younique a wonderful business opportunity. However, I've made sure to cover the top two or three items that make a difference. Honestly, it was only $119CAN/$99USD to start my OWN business. I knew that I would be spending a lot more than that on products so it was a no-brainer for me to join. Remember,,,the awesome 3D Fiber Lash Mascara is only $35CAN/$29USD...its ONLY $84CAN/$70USD more for the ENTIRE kit. That's it!!!
Feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail and I'll tell you about this in more detail. I always post great tips, information and contests on my FB Page - Royal Beauty LashMob - so please join in on the FUN! www.lashmob.ca
